Day 1
Paro to Thimphu
Arrive in Paro. Transfer to Thimphu and visit Buddha Dordenma.
Route / Stops: Paro → Thimphu
Overnight: Thimphu
Day 2
Thimphu to Punakha via Dochula Pass
Cross Dochula Pass (3,100 m). Visit Punakha Dzong and suspension bridge.
Route / Stops: Thimphu → Punakha
Overnight: Punakha
Day 3
Punakha to Trongsa across Pele La Pass
Drive across Pele La Pass (3,420 m) into Central Bhutan. Visit majestic Trongsa Dzong and the Ta Dzong Tower of Trongsa museum.
Route / Stops: Punakha → Pele La → Trongsa (140 km / 5 hrs)

Day 4
Trongsa to Bumthang over Yotong La Pass
Drive over Yotong La Pass (3,400 m) into Chhume Valley (famous for Yathra wool weaving). Arrive in Jakar, Bumthang.
Route / Stops: Trongsa → Yotong La → Bumthang (70 km / 2.5 hrs)

Day 5
Sacred Temples of Bumthang (Kurjey, Jambay & Tamzhing)
Visit Kurjey Lhakhang (Guru Rinpoche's body print), 7th-century Jambay Lhakhang, Tamzhing monastery, and holy Mebar Tsho (Burning Lake).

Tang Valley & Ogyen Choling Palace Excursion
