Day 1
NJP/Bagdogra to Aritar / Sillery Gaon
Scenic drive into East Sikkim foothills. Visit lamp-shaped Aritar Lampokhari Lake with paddle boating. Explore British-era Dak Bungalow.
Route / Stops: Siliguri → Rongpo → Rorathang → Aritar
Overnight: Aritar / Padamchen
Day 2
Aritar to Zuluk via Rongli Permit Checkpoint
Obtain Special Silk Route Inner Line Permits at Rongli. Drive uphill through dense pine forests to the quiet hamlet of Zuluk (9,400 ft).
Route / Stops: Aritar → Rongli → Lingtam → Padamchen → Zuluk
Overnight: Zuluk
Day 3
Zuluk Loops, Thambi Sunrise, Gnathang & Kupup
Pre-dawn drive up the 32 hairpin bends to Thambi Viewpoint for sunrise over Mt. Kanchenjunga. Traverse Lungthung, Gnathang Valley, Old Baba Mandir, and Kupup Elephant Lake.
Route / Stops: Zuluk → Thambi → Gnathang → Kupup → Gangtok / Reshi
Overnight: Gnathang / Gangtok
Day 4
East Sikkim to NJP/Bagdogra Departure
Drive back via scenic mountain rivers to NJP Station / Bagdogra Airport.
